You know when a company such as LG launches a fast, dual-core cell smartphone like LG’s smoking Optimus 2X that there is no time for those that move slow. It’s a busy street in London and there is just no time to wait on those that slow others down. That’s why these Inspectors fine people in London for walking too slow. I love the look on people’s faces as they are handed their fines.
Wow, another high-end smartphone being introduced to the market! With its first smartphone with dual-core processor, the LG Optimus 2X is sure to give other smartphones quite a bit to think about.
The LG Optimus 2X runs smoothly inside the dual-core Tegra 2 processor. It has 8GB of internal memory and 512MB RAM, so it has plenty of space to run apps, even heavy ones.
With Android 2.2 (Froyo) at its core, the Optimus 2X gives you a full set of multimedia features right out of the box. Video and gaming are excellent on the 4-inch screen with resolution of 800×480 pixel. There’s even an HDMI mirroring function capable of 1080p video playback. The 8MP camera and HD camcorder are within any user’s wishlist.
It’s hard to find something to dislike about this phone as the Optimus 2X runs quite beautifully on 2.2, not to mention it will only get better when you could upgrade it to 2.3 (Gingerbread) next June.
The LG Optimus 2X will remain in history as the first smartphone, not to mention, the first Android phone equipped with a dual-core processor. More importantly, the Optimus 2X marks the start of LG’s decision to enter full-throttle into the high-end Android territory. If the sell-out of Optimus 2X in London is any indication, LG will be a rock solid Android competitor pumping out high-end Androids for the foreseeable future.
